Dr. Lingjie Kong is a professor of public international law and associate dean for research and international cooperation at Wuhan University China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies. His legal education includes LLM at Wuhan University, diploma in international law and international relations at Johns-Hopkins University and Nanjing University Center for Chinese American Studies, PhD at Wuhan University and University of Paris Sud. He was academic visitor to University of Oxford, Utrecht University and some other interesting places. His research interest lies in peaceful settlement of international disputes, territorial, transboundary water and maritime disputes in particular. His has published several books and his articles appear on European Journal of International Law, Chinese Journal of International Law and other law journals.
