On May 29, the eighth session of the "Huayang Talk" academic salon titled "U.S. Taiwan Policy: Origins and Prospects", co-hosted by the Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, and the National Institute for South China Sea Studies (NISCSS), was held in the Haikou Office of the Huayang Center.
Wang Weinan, Associate Research Fellow at the School of International and Public Affairs and Deputy Director of the Center for Taiwan Studies at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, drew on his many years of research and provided an in-depth explanation of the formation, evolution, and future trends of the United States' Taiwan policy. Bao Yinan, Associate Research Fellow at the Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, moderated the academic salon.
Wu Shicun, Chairman of the Huayang Center, and Chairman of the Academic Committee of NISCSS, as well as over 40 representatives from the Huayang Center, NISCSS, Hainan Normal University, and Hainan University attended the event.
